Meet the presenters: Brian Gaeta-Symonds. Brian is an Elder at Immanuel and a candidate for ordination under our care. In real life he has recently been called as Minister of Campus Engagement by United University Church on the USC campus. He is married to the handsome and effervescent Gilbert Gaeta Symonds. Brian has been active in many arenas of church life, but his special passion is for GLBTQ ministries, including ordination and marriage policies in the PC(USA) and as leader of the New Queer Faith Forum, one of the PC(USA)’s 1001 Worshiping Communities. Come meet Brian and share in his excitement at our even on Sunday, September 7. Don’t miss it!
Meet the presenters: Richard Prince. Elder Richard is a long-time member of Immanuel. In real life he runs his own handyman business and is the proud father of Aric. Richard has been involved with Project Mercy for years and is the one who inspired us to join up with this great ministry. Quite a few of us have joined Richard on these home builds and always return inspired and joyful. (The next one is on Saturday, October 25, by the way.) Come meet Richard and hear why he is so passionate about Project Mercy at our event on Sunday, September 7. Don’t miss it!
Meet the presenters: Debbie Breeding. Elder Debbie Breeding is a long-time member of Immanuel. In real life, she is a dedicated and creative teacher of fourth grade. Debbie has been active in almost every area of church life, but her special passion is Pacific Presbytery’s Nicaragua Partnership, which she has been a part of since its inception. Come hear Debbie share what this means to her and chat with her at the reception following our September 7 event. Don’t miss it!
