3.13.11 English (Rev. Tom Eggebeen)

A native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Tom Eggebeen is in his 40^h year of ministry.  Eggebeen, a Dutch name, is pronounced like “eggs” and “beans.”  Tom’s wife, Donna, a native of Pease, Minnesota, is a realtor/bookkeeper, a former seller of shoes in Beverly Hills and now retired. They are enjoying their 43rd year of marriage. Of their two children, Josh is in the Peace Corps, Swaziland, and Rachel lives and works in LA.  Tom has served churches in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Michigan, As of March 1, Tom ended a 3 1/2 year interim at Covenant Presbyterian Church and began retirement.  Tom is graduate of Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan (where Tom & Donna met), and Western Theological Seminary, Holland Michigan (BD & D.Min). Ordination was January, 1970, at the First Presbyterian Church in Holland.  Tom adds: “Donna and I love life, and we love the Lord. That we have served Him these many years is our joy, our peace and clear evidence of God’s grace.”
