Healing Ourselves & Our World Through Movement and Prayer

Join us Sunday mornings during Lent, beginning February 26 – April 1, 9:30 – 10:00 am on the Patio (or in the Parlor if it’s raining).  Drawing on Rev. J. Philip Newell’s Celtic Psalter, Rev. Elizabeth Gibbs Zehnder will lead as we lift prayers for healing our ourselves and our community.  Everyone is welcome.

The class will be meeting after church to explore the Enneagram, a powerful tool for spiritual development. Who is Cantor Aviva Rosenbloom?

Cantor Aviva Rosenbloom served as Cantor at Temple Israel of Hollywood from 1975 to 2008, making her one of the pioneering female cantors in the Los Angeles area. She’s been involved with interfaith dialogue for many years, including a number of programs for Catholic Jewish Women’s dialogue, as well as participation in Muslim-Jewish dialogue.  While serving as Cantor, she taught an Introduction to Judaism class to adults interested in learning the basics of the faith.

Cantor Rosenbloom will also be singing during the English and All Together services.
