The new chairs have arrived and are being made ready for use. The purchase of these chairs was made possible through the generous donations of: members of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Larchmont Charter School, Amanuel Ethiopian Church, Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles and Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace. This is a wonderful example of the cooperation of groups which are part of the “Immanuel Family”. As far as I can tell, this is probably only the 3rd time we have purchased chairs in large quantity since 1929 when Immanuel moved into this building. If these chairs last as long as the other 2 times we will be using them for a very long time! A very big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this project. ~Rod Sprott
Ya han llegado las nuevas sillas y ya están siendo disponibles por uso. La compra de estas sillas fue posible por medio de las generosas donaciones de: miembros de la Iglesia Presbiteriana Immanuel, la escuela Larchmont Charter, la Iglesia Etíope Amanuel, el Gay Men’s Chorus de Los Angeles y el Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace.
